  1. For the terrible day, every American have a deathful and don not want to remember memories that are similar to Diana's.
It reminds me of Sep.11.2001 in China. All the TV programs and newspapers were exchanged or renewed by the special news. When the building was destroyed and many employees were jumping from the high building called Trade Center,we felt sadly even we cried for them.As crazy fire and smoke,we almost could not see anything clearly under scared scream .We beg to stop fire burning,we were eager to all people live safety. The news was rolled reporting and renewing in the whole day.But the death of numbers increased constantly.Even if we just heard and watched it,nothing was important besides alive and together with family members at the moment. At the moment all people hoped that it just a dream, when we opened eyes again ,anything would be original look!!

    1. Hi, Wendy. It is surely touching to know how sad and concerned Chinese people were on 9/11. You have expressed this well.

Several questions: (1) "have a deathful"? (2) "anything would be original look"? Please clarify.

      Thanks,
      Diana

  2. I will never forget this moment. When I saw the beautiful hug building destroyed by a small airplane, behind the video camera a woman was shocked. Even though I was still teenager but I was heedful to the news. We strongly condemn this attack. We have spoken out for peace and justice. In other words, we felt guilty, and we apologize for every American, especially New Yorker, for the harmful, painful and dreadful. On other hand, Saudi Arabia was under attack from terrorist group. They boomed The Public Security Building; also they have tried to bomb The Ministry of the Interior. And I have some love once have been injured from that. But what can I do? what can I say? I would say, May God Bless Us

    Best,

    Ghadah

    1. Hi, Ghadah. You have beautifully expressed how Saudis felt on 9/11. You point out that Saudis, too, were victims of terrorism. Most Americans probably don't know that!

Several questions: (1) "hug building"? (2) "they boomed"? (3) "I have some love once"? Please clarify.
      Thanks,
      Diana

  3. When the terrorist attack happened in 2001 I was too young to understand the importance about that huge symbol of America's progress and future. I never had pass through by a crises or a disaster in my life, but I had only one scary situation that marked my memory. It was St. John's Day, it is a big holiday in my state, and also is four days after my birthday, so me and my family were traveling to the family's farm to meet the rest of the family and celebrate the holiday. When we was in the road, suddenly a car appeared in front of our car and hit us. My father tried agent our car from the other but was not enough. We spine on the road for a few minutes and finally could stopped on the shoulder. That moment was the most terrified minutes in my life.

    1. Hi Giulia. I can understand why you chose to write about a car accident. A scary situation indeed! Was anyone hurt?

Several other questions: (1) "My father tried agent our car."?
      (2) "We spine on the road."? (3) "terrified"? or terrifying?
      Please clarify.
      Thanks,
      Diana

    3. Anyone was hurt, but was a terrifying (3) experience. When I said "my father tried to agent our car" I mean that he tried get away of the other car, but he cannot (1). So, as a result of the hit, we turn on the track for a few minutes (2).

    4. Better! I think you mean "No one was hurt."

      Thanks,

  5. 9.11 it was a day that people all over the world cannot forget.I cannot image that people's feeling. Something sad, afriad,or terrible. For me,I also have a worst day.It was a sunny day.My brother,my cousin and I went to my hometown to visit my grandparents. We would like to ride a bike.My brother rode a bike and I sat in front of him. Along the way,we all appreciate the roadside scenery. So the time went so fast.My brother and my cousin chatted very happy, so they forget that they were cycling.Unfortunately,we fall down to the field, the bicycle over me,and my leg was into the bicycle's wheels. Finally, everything was good.I dare not let brother since this bike with me.Until now,I still remember that day. So that is my terrible day in my life.

    1. Hi, Sharon. I can understand why you found the biking accident so scary. Something similar happened to my son-in-law recently. You say "Finally, everything was good." Does than mean that no one was hurt? I hope so!

One other question: "I dare not let brother since this bike with me." I think I know what you mean, but please re-state it more clearly.

      Thanks,
      Diana
